Be one of the first people to ever play Haven! Cavan, one of the co-creators, will be running 5 people through our starter adventure, Blood Dawn. This is a combat playtest, so you will be fighting lots of baddies with all your heroic actions. We will have character sheets for the five starting classes for you to choose from and run. Just because this is combat doesn’t mean there won’t be roleplaying and also a bit of exploration, just not as extensive as it will be in the final product.
Who’s Yer Con is only $25 for badges for the entire weekend and they are even awesome enough to think of folks who have a little less disposable income and have free community tickets. So there will be lots of gaming fun to be had. The playtest is FREE! Grab your tickets, and we will see you at the table.
What is Haven?
THE WORLD HAS CHANGED. In moments, your small, idyllic community and the vast world beyond lost countless people. And somehow, for some reason, you survived. Now, horrific, morphed abominations, beautiful, deadly plants, murderous doomsday cults, and the chaotic storm that is transforming the world are spreading across the lands of Archaeus.
You and the remaining members of your Haven must now come together to survive and eventually thrive in this altered world. You will venture further into this vibrant, dangerous land than ever before to find other survivors, gather seemingly magical visicrysts, expand the protective powers of your Haven, and fight back against the forces of chaos and darkness.
Haven is a heroic, hopepunk, low-fantasy tabletop roleplaying game. Combat is fast-paced and swingy, utilizing a D6 pool system driven by our unique Dauntless and Dread mechanics. The hex-based exploration offers plenty of tables to help GMs world-build unique and exciting landscapes, settlements, and adventures. The Haven-building mechanic encourages players to get out, explore the world, and reclaim what has been taken from them.
